GlobalShip API
Used in conjunction with GlobalShip™, GlobalShip API is the Enterprise Application Interface (EAI) layer that enables easy and effective interfacing with the enterprise, as well as with related applications and peripherals. Essentially, GlobalShip API supports communication between GlobalShip and the other key touch points of your enterprise.
In addition to multi-threaded routing capabilities, GlobalShip API provides an event management layer. Through the business logic system, GlobalShip API will react to events and send predetermined alerts according to unique business rules that you set. Additionally, GlobalShip API can drive various peripherals (as seen at the top of the diagram) used in automated processes, such as “print and apply” applications.
